Today was a new challenge from Susan at Simplicity. Today our challenge was to make a one layer card using repetitive stamping. Just a note...this one layer stuff is really stretching my creativity! I find it extremely difficult to only have one layer. I want to add a little bling, ribbon, chipboard....oh, the things I could add!! But, I digress. I believe I made about 3 cards before I came up with this one that I'm somewhat pleased with. I used a little Inkadinkado stamp that I've had for a while. Stamped it in black, then painted the flowers with some irredescent paint that I've had forever and rarely used. The sentiment is a stamp from Paper Trey Ink.
I made the inside of the card with a little pocket, so that I could insert a gift card for the recipient. How fun is that?! I know I love to get a little gift card. How about you?
Once again, I enjoyed stretching my imagination and trying to complete the challenge. Thanks, Susan for keeping us on our toes!
Thanks for stopping by....Until next time...
Hugs!
