OLW20 - Three Plus One

It's time again for the One Layer Wednesday challenge at Susan Raihala Simplicity blog. This week's challenge was to make a one layer card using 3 different stamps plus a sentiment. This is what I came up with:

One piece of white card base folded in half creating a 4 x 5 1/2" card. I used Close to my Heart stamps - the ground, the tree, and the little boy. The Hello Friend stamp is a Hero Arts stamp. I did this in a hurry this morning before heading off to work, so I probably could have done a little better job with the mingling of ink where the tree limbs meet the leaves...but it is what it is for a 10 minute card! I do love these stamps, and this is the first time I've used them.

If you're in a card making mood, pop on over to the Simplicity blog and join in the challenge!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Until next time.....

Hugs!

What a crack-up, a 10 minute card! Love it and couldn't do it in less than a week, myself. I would STILL be fussing over where to put the sentiment! ;-)

You did this in a hurry? My hurried
creation would not be worth keeping. This is stunning the scene you created Susan. I marvel at your creation. Thank you so much for visiting my blog and leaving such a nice comment.

Wow, yours is great, love the little boy, warms my heart. Did it really say three different stamps? Oops, can't read. Do CASE my card, would love to see your take on it.

This certainly doesn't look like a ten minute card! (I am turning green at this point) - everything marries so well. You can begin to see the story behind the image: now, where is that little fellow going and what mischief is he up to? Thanks for you kind comments on my card.

Susan, your card jumps out at me, on the Simplicity blog, every day. I have to have that little boy! Do you sell that line of stamps? Seems to me I've seen one of their catalogs and it's a matter of buying a whole CTMH package, isn't it, like the paper, ink, ribbon and stamps?

Ooo... Susan this is too cool. It reminds me of that book. Ghah! What's it called? It'll come to me... The Giving Tree! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Giving_Tree
