Flourishes - Timeless Tuesday Challenge

It's time for the Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge.  The challenge this Tuesday was to make a Christmas card.  Well, I'm on it! I've been making cards constantly for the past few weeks every chance I get.  I usually send about 50 - 60 cards to family and friends and I'm still about 10-15 cards short.  Each of these cards were designed using a Flourishes stamp.  Their stamps are absolutely gorgeous!

This first card was made with a white card base. I used a Sizzix embossing folder for the dotted background and layered that on a piece of red cardstock.  The image is from the Flourishes Christmas Classics stamp collection and was stamped with Memento ink and colored with Copic markers. I cut it out with a Spellbinder die, then added a red backing that I trimmed with my scalloped scissors.  I added a red ribbon and bow...all done!

This snowman card is a one layer card stamped with Flourishes Warm Winter Wishes stamps.  Colored with Copic markers and then I added a little glitter (stickles) to the snowflakes and to the snowman.  Very simple, but I love the way it turned out!

This next card was made using the Flourishes Christmas Classics stamp set.  I stamped the stockings with Memento ink, then colored them with Copic Markers.  I drew a mantle above the stockings and cut everything out with an exacto knife.  The red brick fireplace was embossed with the Tim Holtz brick embossing folder.  I cut out the "fireplace" and then hand drew some bricks on the white cardstock and highlighted them with a Copics marker.  I smudged the edges of the fireplace with a little black "soot", then added a few hand drawn logs and flames.  The logs were cut from brown cardstock and highlighted with a few doodles.  The flames were drawn with a black pen, colored with Copics, cut out and mounted on pop dots.  Lot of work in this card, but I love the results!

This card was designed using a white card base.  The snowflake embossed piece was pop-dotted on the card base.  The ornament is from the Flourishes All That Glitters stamp collection and was stamped with Memento inks and colored with Copics.  I used a gold cord to hang the ornament.  The white top on the ornament was covered with some stickles for a little sparkle.  I colored the top of the ornament with a gold gel pen. The sentiment is from PaperTrey Ink.

This last card was designed with a solid white card base.  The embossed piece (Merry Christmas) was done with a Sizzix (Basic Grey) embossing folder.  I added a striped piece (Die Cuts with a View) across the bottom and mounted both on a piece of red cardstock.  The image is from the Flourishes Christmas Classics stamp collection and was stamped with Memento black ink and colored with Copic markers.  I cut it out using a Spellbinder die and then backed it with a piece of red cardstock that I cut by hand.  Added a pretty red ribbon and bow...all done!

Thanks so much for stopping by! I appreciate your comments! Until next time...

Hugs!
