OLW28 - Five Colors

It's time once again for the One Layer Wednesday challenge. This week the challenge is hosted by Jennifer Styles at Styles Ink.  The challenge this week was to use FIVE different colors of ink on the card, not including black or white.  I really struggled with this one.  I couldn't think of a thing to do using so many colors until I was digging through my Christmas stamps and found these two pretty ornament stamps from Flourishes.  My brain is stuck on making Christmas cards right now because I still don't have enough finished to send out!

The tree limb was stamped in green and is also from the same stamp set. I stamped the large ornament twice - once in red and once in a pumpkin color.  The small ornament, I stamped in purple, teal, and a bright blue.  The sentiment is from PTI and I also stamped it in the teal color.  The gold hanging cords was drawn with a gold gel pen. Not being able to leave well enough alone, I went back and highlighted the swirls with a little diamond stickles and colored the top of each ornament with some pearl-ex mixed with a little water.  Looking back at this, I realized I used six different colors! Yay, me!!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Until next time....

Hugs!
