Fall To Layout 131

I haven't played in the Clean and Simple challenge in a while, so I thought that I would give it a whirl this week.  The sketch this week is really fun...and I was able to get my card finished in record time!

I used a white card base and masked off an area with post-it notes.  I sponged the masked area with SU Soft Suede.  I cut the flowers with the Tim Holtz flower die and white card stock.  I stamped the flowers with a large background (words) stamp, then inked the edges of all the blooms.  I added a brown button with a jute bow to each of the flowers.  I also embossed a couple of lines above and below the masked area with my Scorepal.  The sentiment is a Hero Arts stamp.

If you need a mojo boost...check out the great sketches at Clean and Simple...and thanks for stopping by!  Until next time....

Hugs!!

It is hard to believe that such a simple layout and a few neutrals can make such a beautiful card - but you have done it!

Just wanted to say thank you for your kind and supportive comment on my blog, so pleased you understood the intentions of my card and blog post.
AND what a gorgeous card, that soft, neutral colour scheme is perfect for the sentiment, just love it!

This has always been one of my favorite quotes. Eleanor Roosevelt. I actually have a framed print of this quote that sits on my desk. I see it every single day.

I just had to catch up on the last four blog posts - you are really creating some amazing cards! Oh... and to answer your question on the first post. My fave, I think, is the map card. I think you mentioned it was "blah". I strongly disagree. I think it's fabulous!
