This week is week 100 for the One Layer Wednesday challenge! This week's challenge is hosted by Cheryl at A Paperie Journey. Cheryl has challenged us to make a one layer card with a theme of transportation. I had a new SU stamp that I really wanted to use, so....here's my card.
I stamped the truck, then masked it off and stamped the trees behind it. I see that I need to do a little something with the grass under the truck...maybe a different shade of green? I was really loving this card until I stamped the sentiment crooked! UGH!
I finished another card with a transportation theme, but it also works for the CASology challenge this week. You can peek at the card here. It's a little boat sailing away into the sunset....all on ONE layer!
Thanks so much for popping in! I appreciate each and every comment! Until next time....
Hugs!

This is wonderful!! I have to make a transportation themed card in the next couple of days and this is a great idea! You have made a scene!!
This is so stunning Susan, xx
A wonderful scene, Susan! Great masking and the sentiment looks fine to me!
I think the grass under the truck looks just fine. I'm not sure how you could make it better! I love the red of the truck against the pretty sponged sky!
This is amazing, Susan. It looks like a painting, not something done with rubber stamps and ink!!
Wonderful scene - love the bright red of the truck against all the cool, calm green!
I love the little scene you've made here Susan - I'm already making up stories in my head about what's going on here!
Susan, Your scene is beautiful. Well, I should say they always are... I love the detail in the grass. Adorable image too. Thanks for joining us for the 100th OLW Challenge!
Love your scene. The trees, truck and grass are just fab. I think your sentiment is nestled perfectly on the hill! x
Hi, I was browsing your beautiful cards and this one caught my eye! It is absolutely stunning!!
Could you please tell me what stamp you used for the grass? And also did you use the SU markers or Copics? Watercolor paper or the whisper white? I'm kind of leaning towards whisper white, su markers and blender pen? But curiosity kills me! Thanks in advance for your answer.
Hugs
