Four Challenges and Some Scrapbooking!

I apologize for the long absence.  I'm still making cards regularly, but I tend to put off taking photos of my cards...then the next thing I know the challenge is over and it's too late for me to post to the challenge.  I guess I'm just lazy a procrastinator!

I have a couple of cards and a couple of layouts to share with you today.  The cards are for four different challenges - Less is MoreAddicted to CAS, Addicted to Stamps and More, and CASology.

I made this first card for a friend who will be moving away.

I used the Penny Black Blooming Garden die to cut the flower from white card stock.  The circle was cut using the largest Simon Says stitched circle die.  The sentiment "wishing" is also a SS die and was cut from red card stock.  I also cut the flower die from the blue circle, then inserted the flower die that was cut from the white card stock into the circle.  I colored the blooms on the flower with Copics. The remainder of the sentiment is from the SS Wishing and Sending stamp set.  I heat embossed that part of the sentiment in white.  I rounded the bottom corners with a 1/4 inch corner chomper.  The circle and flowers are "popped" off the card base with white fun foam.

This next card will also fit all of these challenges.

I used the SS Stitched, Slopes, and Hills die to cut the sloping colors of card stock.  I cut a small blue rectangle for the bottom portion of the card panel, then topped that with a white piece cut with the hill die, then added a red piece cut with the same die.  I adhered these three together, stamped the sentiment in Versamark and heat embossed it in white. Sentiment is from Avery Elle.  I die cut three stars from silver glitter paper using SS star dies.  I then "popped" the panel onto a white card base.

Here's a couple of layouts I recently finished:

This is a photo of me and my children, grandchildren and my SIL and DIL.  We spent Thanksgiving 2014 at Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.  We ate Thanksgiving dinner at the Dixie Stampede.  It was a great family vacation.  Title work was cut with the Cameo.

These are photos of my grandson...he was all played out!  He fell across that chair and slept for about and hour and a half and never even moved!  The bear and the title work was cut with the Cameo.

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by for a visit!  Hope you'll come back soon!  Your comments are greatly appreciated! Until next time...

I'm having trouble finding a PB die called Blooming Garden. Is the die called Field of Dreams?

Fabulous cards Susan, I love that PB die. Your scrapbook pages are super too, my son could fall asleep anywhere when he was little.
