Diva and a Dare Challenges

Here's my entries for two of the weekly tangle challenges.  This first tangle is for the challenge #16 issued by Erin at The Bright Owl blogspot.  Here's the template she's given us this week.
My tile turned out to be about 5 x 5 inches.  Very simple tangles.  Does anyone recognize the scalloped tangles on the four petals?  I thought I'd drawn a new tangle, but I'm not sure if it's already out there and I just don't know it.  I've posted my directions at the end of this post.

This second tangle is also about 5 x 5 inches and was drawn using this template that Erin from The Bright Owl provided for the Diva Challenge this week.
I'm not sure of all the tangles I used on this one...just went with the flow.  I really liked how this one turned out.

Here's the steps to the tangle that I'm calling "Fanz".  If anyone know whether this has already been put out there by someone else, please let me know. It's a great "fill in" tangle and I think I'll be using it often.

That's it for me today.  Thanks a million for stopping by! Until next time.....

Hugs!

These are beautiful :) I really liked the "Fanz" tangle when I saw it, and thought "I wonder how she drew that".... and then there it was! Thanks for that one - I'll definitely be trying it!

Your work is lovely. Both Zendalas are beautifully done - I favor the first with its striking design. "Fanz" is a great new tangle. Thank you for the step-out.

Great job, I like your choices especially well on the first one and fans does look like a good filler pattern. It starts out like Cresent Moon but then continues on very similar to one of the flower tangles... Not arc flower, not mumsy... Another one. I have to get busy with my own diva challenge for this week... All those little spaces are giving me fits! Your looks great.

Both of these zendalas are great; can't decide which I like better. Thanks for the step out on your new tangle.

These are both such great looking Zendalas. The shading on the second one is really inspiring, it looks so alive.

I caught this tangle as part of the Diva Zentangle Challenge #212. Turns out it works perfectly with my post. I linked very late to the Challenge list, but here's the link if you want to see my interpretation of your tangle: http://wp.me/pASgH-3oo
