I'm Guest Designer for Less is More!

I'm so excited! Chrissie and Mandi have asked me to be the guest designer for Less is More this week! WooHoo!  If you've already been by to check out the challenge for this week, you know that this week is the "lucky dip" week since it's the 5th Saturday of the month.  Our challenge this week is to create a card with the theme of Love and Marriage.

The first card was made by cutting the couple silhouette in black and then a larger gold foil heart to put behind the silhouette.  Image was cut on the Cameo.  I embossed a white panel with the dotted embossing folder and then edged it in gold and popped it on the white card base.  The sentiment tag is a Spellbinder tag that was cut after I printed the sentiment using my computer.  The font is called  Bickham Script two.  The heart and sentiment tag are pop dotted.

For this card I also used the Cameo to cut the white panel with the heart and random punched circles around the heart.  I added some gold dots with a gold leaf pen inside the main heart, and then added two gold heart brads that I made by heat embossing them with gold embossing powder.  The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink and was embossed in WOW gold embossing powder.  I placed the white cut panel on top of a gold foil paper and then popped the two layers on a white card base.  The corners were punched with a deco corner chomper.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  I appreciate each and every comment.  Don't forget to check out all the great cards that will be posted this week at the Less is More challenge!  Until next time...

Hugs!

Congrats on the GD spot. And clearly, you've joined the CAMEO conspiracy. Must. Resist. lol! Love them both, but that spray of dots around the heart is making me itch to order a cameo!

WOW! Susan, you deserve every bit of the honor of an LIM Supreme Diva. Your work is so consistently gorgeous. I come by every challenge, even if I don't leave comments often. And I am over the moon whenever you leave a comment on my card. My day is completed...don't laugh...I mean it. Both (or should I say all) of your cards for this challenge are beauties. Oh, and your scrap pages too...OK, I'm done gushing now.
Have a Happy Weekend

Wow, where to start! First of all, I am sooo happy for you to receive the honor of being guest designer at LIM!! That could not have been a hard choice for them as you are OUT standing!!

Okay, love the shoe cards, all of them. Have the bootie, so TFTI! The shoe card has just the right c
doloring - I thought it was a REAL shoe!

And the "make my toes curl" - Susan, this is a family shoe! LOL!! Oh, oops, I didn't even mean to type "shoe" for show, but I'm leaving it. Do make that card one day, like with Victoria prim and proper dress just above and then use that sentiment! Love your wicked humor!!

And now, seriously, your Love and Marriage cards are A.MaY.ZING!!! Just brilliant ... tbc
