I don't know where the time has gone! I can't believe it's been so long since my last post! I had company in May, then my Granddaughter visited for a week in June....then I decided to go to the mountains with a friend for a little vacation...little did I know...two days after we got to the mountains, I stepped in a hole and broke my right foot...so I've been hobbling around with a huge boot on for 6 weeks now! Whew! Quite a summer so far! I've done a little crafting, but it's difficult to do when you're suppose to be keeping your foot elevated! LOL! Anyway....here's some of what I've been up to.
Stamped the flowers from Clearly Besotted friend and then fussy cut it. Sentiment is heat embossed in gold on black. I stamped the background in gold and heat embossed before sponging on a bit of yellow distress ink. The card on the right is a digi image. I lengthened the branch a bit with a black marker, added the letters for "thanks", and cut the image out with my Cameo. I inked the background with some tumbled glass distress in then pop the tree limb up with some foam tape.
Playing around with some water color smooshing. I used the flower and leaf dies from my odds and ends box (things I've cut, or colored but not used). I popped the watercolor panel on a yellow card base. The card on the right is also some of my watercolor smooshing experiment. I added an orange strip down the side and a small strip of gold. "Prayers" is a die from SSS.
The flower on the left is a die cut that I colored with Copics and popped up just a bit. I inked the background with DI and ran it through my Big Shot with an embossing plate. Panel was popped on a white card base. I believe the sentiment is from SSS. The card on the right is more of my watercolor smooshing....butterflies were punched with a MS punch.
This card is just super simple...cut several strips of pink and white borders and layered them on the bottom of the card. Added two strips of pink and a sentiment from PTI.
I know this is a photo heavy post...so if you've made it this far...Thank You!
I will work on posting a little more often...hopefully, my life with get back to normal when my bones mend and I can get this boot off my foot!
Thanks so much for stopping in. I appreciate your visit...and I appreciate each and every comment!
