One Layer Simplicity, LIM, AAA Cards, and ATSAM! Go Me!

I've finished a card that I believe will fit for FOUR....I mean 4 challenges!  I rarely manage to combine more than 2 challenges, so I'm extra surprised that my card will work with FOUR different challenges! The challenges are:  LIM 232, One-Layer Simplicity, AAA Cards, and Addicted to Stamps and More....so here we go....

I'm sure it will come as a BIG surprise to most of you...but this is my only card for this post!

The LIM challenge this week is a one layer card challenge with a theme of masculine.  The One Layer Simplicity Challenge is to add sparkle and shine.  The AAA Card challenge is a starry skies theme.  Addicted to Stamps and More challenge this week is "make your mark".

This is a one layer card. I masked off a rectangle in the center of the card front.  I stamped the image of the father and son (a very old SU stamp) inside the rectangle, then stamped and cut out a mask to cover it so that I could add a bit of inking.  I inked the ground and sky with distress inks.  I colored the image with Copics.  Then sentiment is from PTI and is stamped in black.  I added the stars with some embossing paste over a star stencil.  Before applying the embossing paste, I added a bit of glitter dust to the embossing paste, mixed it in well, then applied it over the stencil.  IRL the stars really twinkle!

Thought I'd also share another couple of layouts with you today too...

Three of my beautiful grandchildren during a visit to my house last year. A very simple layout created with papers from Echo Park.  The hearts, banner, and doily were all cut with the Cameo.  I added a bit of doodling and some bling to the scallops.  There's not a black border on the layout, I added that in photoshop so that the edges of the layout would be visible.

I had a lot of fun with this layout.  These three cuties are three of my grandsons. I believe I also used Echo Park papers for this layout too.  I designed the blue border strip and the title work in my Silhouette program.  Then printed both pieces and cut them with the Cameo. The boy on the tire swing is from the Silhouette store.  I designed the tree in my Silhouette program, cut it from brown card stock, then added lines with Copics to make it look wood grain.  The hill was cut from green paper, then I added a few tuffs of grass with Copics.  The grass border across the bottom was cut with a die.  The leaves on the tree were also cut with a die.

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by for a visit!  Hope you'll come back soon!  Your comments are greatly appreciated! Until next time...
